Fenwick’s Choice Meats opened in 1952 with the rebuild of Cross Street Market. In 1970 Henry Reisinger joined and rose through the ranks at this classic butcher shop, ultimately becoming sole proprietor in 1987. Fenwick’s has always been known not just for its quality meats (from whole chickens to breakfast sausage and slab bacon to just about any cut of meat you can imagine), but also cleanliness, customer service and fair prices. As of August of 2024 Manuel Raymundo who was a longtime employee of Henry has taken over as the new owner of Fenwick Choice Meats.
